This new report gives you a historical view into how your project financials evolve over time.
At the end of each month, Parallax captures an unalterable snapshot of each project’s key financial metrics, including:
- Revenue
- EAC (Estimate at Completion)
- Labor Cost
- Profit
- Margin
- Effective Rate
Using these monthly snapshots, you can compare historical plans and better understand how changes over time have impacted key financial calculations and project performance.
Please note that monthly snapshots are unalterable, meaning they will never reflect changes made after a given month has closed. This ensures your historical reporting remains accurate and consistent.
Anyone with current ADMIN permission access will automatically have access to the report. For users with other permission levels, access can be enabled by updating their Permission settings and checking the box to add the Project Snapshot Insights Report.
Filtering is just as easy -
- Select which month you wish to view
- Optional: Select which month or timeframes to compare it to in Parallax
- Export the report option
- Create Saved Views
- View in Multi-Currency if needed based on set-up
